Independent Film Casting Call for Reenactors

Serious actors of any experience level wanted for feature-length World War II film centered on the participation of American Airborne Infantry units during the invasion of Europe.

The filmmakers are looking for men of slight build ages 18-45 to fill ten main roles plus extras. Our characters include soldiers from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York and Louisiana. Ability to replicate accents a plus.

American paratroopers dropping into Normandy represented the cutting edge of military combat tactics with membership to Airborne divisions requiring over two years training; as such these men were in the best shape of their lives. Along with the physical demands of the project, actors must be able to represent this aesthetic characteristic of a WWII-era soldier in the field.
